This podcast is about shifting paradigms and breaking down barriers. Cultivating information for our viewers and listeners so they can apply them in their beauty/health regimen and career successes. The content is provided in an edutainment format to make it digestible to our listeners and viewers.
Her Story
Kelly Alfonso was born In Trinidad & Tobago. She studied Art under Ronald Smith (Water Colourist Extroadinaire). He entered her into Cambridge A Levels Art & Design at 15. After completing 2 years in the program she scored a B+ after creating an abstract and landscape piece.
A very creative spirit she was. She went on to win Miss Teen Trinidad & Tobago. She continued on to represent her country in Miss Teen World where she came up as a runner up all at the tender age of 17.
Her talents have taken her from galleries to the stage.
When Kelly arrived to the states she got certified in physical fitness and received her cosmetology license. With her new skills and licenses under her belt; Kelly worked her way up to executive management roles in skin care & beauty.
During summer ‘22 Kelly created Center Stage Beauty Podcast. This podcast is centered on capturing creative voices. Placing them on stage to capture important moments in their career. She cares to guide the listeners and viewers who wish to follow the same path into beauty and entertainment. Center Stage Beauty Podcast empowers and is a huge supporter of opportunities for underrepresented backgrounds; as well as intersectional inclusivity including gender, race/ethnicity, LGBTQIA, age and disability considerations.
From angling brush strokes, adjusting her crown, curating diet and fitness plans, executively leading a team for a Fortune 500 company, to creating Center Stage Beauty Podcast her life highlights the different avenues one can take in the beauty and entertainment arena. Center Stage is focusing on career guidance and utilizing the guests knowledge and experience to guide the current and the next generation.
Currently Kelly is working in Live Theatre (Broadway). Utilising her hands to carve a space in hair and make up. This as she reveals her true art form.
